Late for the Train is a modern string band rooted in American folk and bluegrass — guitar, fiddle, stand-up bass, and mandolin — with harmonies that reach somewhere deep and lyrics that are honest about what it's actually like to be alive. If you love Sierra Ferrell, The Wood Brothers, Greensky Bluegrass, or Watchhouse, this one's for you. In 2024, they made their international debut at the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival, the Doolin Folk Festival, and appeared on national Gaelic TV in Ireland — and this year they're playing our Main Street. They released their second studio album, The Flowers of Yesteryear, in 2024. Opening the night are The Breakovers — folk, bluegrass and Americana from right in our own backyard in the hills of Nevada County. Original songwriting, rich harmonies, fiddle and mandolin.
